Connecting to Purpose in these trying times

Can one embark on any journey without understanding the purpose of the journey?

Absolutely not. Sadly, that is the reality of many people traversing our world today.

You find men and women walking around aimlessly without understanding their purpose. They only add up to the statistic without leaving any steps in the sands of time.

Do you know your life’s purpose? This is a billion dollar question. that is seldom answered. The answer you provide to this question holds the most authentic meaning to your life. The answer to this question is the essence of your existence.

Without realizing your purpose, it isn’t easy to navigate life. A man who does not understand his meaning is blind and can never figure out his life’s journey.

As life progresses, things can get pretty tricky. When this happens, your purpose is what will keep your ground and focused on your journey.

We are currently dealing with one of the most challenging periods ever encountered by man. While amid a global pandemic such as COVID-19, racism, unemployment, and other adverse events are also raging wild. It appears that we are being battered on all sides. How can one keep his head up when surrounded by these negative happenings? How can one keep swimming against the tide to reach its destination?

The answer lies in connecting to your purpose. What does relating to your purpose mean?

I may not have a crystal ball to tell your exact purpose, but I can tell you what your purpose revolves around.

Trust me; this is very simple for me to decipher because it applies to every one of us. By design, all men have their life’s purpose revolving around one thing – service to others.

Maya Angelou explained using our hands as an analogy. She said that we were all created with two hands – one hand to take care of yourself, and the other to help others.

All of us, no matter our talents, strengths, and weaknesses, can only fulfill our purpose when we utilize them in service to other people.

Now, in this challenging time, connecting to purpose means constantly looking for opportunities to help others during this challenging period. It may be difficult for you, especially if you need help too, but I tell you that connecting to your purpose is surely pushing through this difficult time.

Amit Ray says, “It does not matter how long you are spending on the earth; how much money you have gathered or how much attention you have received. It is the amount of positive vibration you have radiated in life that matters.”

If you are yet to figure out your purpose, I’ll encourage you to connect to your purpose by helping people around you, serving them, and relating positivity to them.

It will not cost you anything, but what you’ll get in return is a full life experience. As you begin to pour out of your vessel to bless others, your vessel will continue to overflow.

Now is not the time to focus on yourself!
